    Unlike most types of chain, ball chain does not contain any open links.
    Instead it's made of metal spheres (balls) that are linked at regular intervals with connector bars.
    These pop over the last link of ball chain and have a loop at one end, so you can hang other objects from the ball chain, or hang the ball chain from something else.
    White plating is also known as "imitation rhodium" and "silvertone".
